Opening drive on MNQ. You're in for 2.
Risk Tool captured your stop at 27,562 from the chart. You didn't type it in. When you were flat minutes later, the trade was already in the journal.
Every journal on the market wants 15 minutes of admin from you for every 5 minutes you traded. That's the real reason you quit last time. TurtleMetrics just — writes the thing down for you. The moment a trade closes, it's there.
Hit them all. Built around them.
Built for everyone — stocks, crypto, options. Stuffed with tools no futures trader needs.
Daily exports. Format breaks. One forgotten day ruins the whole quarter's data.
$49–99/mo for portfolio analysis and social features you'll never open.
In any other journal, this is where the typing starts. In TurtleMetrics, the week is already on the page. Scroll on — the entries fill themselves in.

Normally this is where you'd forget about it on Sunday and not learn anything. Tap one tag — that behavior now has a running dollar cost against your account.
You notice the pattern on the calendar view on Sunday. Click into Wednesday — every trade has the real entry, real stop, intraday candles with your markers overlaid. No reconstruction.
The pullback-to-EMA you've been refining for two months. Two clean entries, both held to target. By Sunday the setup analytics will tell you it's your best one this month — without you having to go looking.
The app noticed. You planned a +2R trade. You realized +0.4R — 1.6R left on the table. That gap, between your plan and your execution, is the exact thing you couldn't see in a spreadsheet.
Not two hours. Not a pivot table rebuild. Ten minutes of looking at what you already did, tagged in context, with real R numbers next to each trade. You close the tab. You actually keep doing this next week.
Every journal wants to be a platform. This one's a tool. Here's the entire feature surface, in priority order for a futures day trader.
The TurtleMetrics NinjaTrader addon runs in the background. The moment you go flat, the trade is in your journal — within seconds, automatically.
No CSV export, no broker plumbing, no Sunday correction pass. This is the entire reason the product exists.
read more on automatic sync →ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, RTY, CL, GC. Not a "futures mode" tab inside a stocks journal. Contract rollovers automatic. Tick values, session times, margin quirks live inside every metric.
No stocks. No options. No crypto. That focus is the feature.
read more on the calendar & charts →The Risk Tool indicator sits on your chart. One click at entry captures the actual stop price. It travels with the trade into TurtleMetrics.
Every Realized R in the app is what you really risked. Not a number you back-filled because you couldn't remember.
read more on real R:R →Default dashboard is five things — P&L, win rate, profit factor, consistency, recent trades. Not a 47-widget setup screen.
Go deeper when you want to: setup performance, tag breakdowns, time-of-day heatmap, MAE/MFE scatter. The front door stays sparse on purpose.
read more on the dashboard →You can't analyze "got emotional, chased price, got wicked." You can analyze chased_entry, revenge_trade, held_to_target.
After 100 tagged trades, the app tells you the dollar cost of every habit. That's the whole point of structure over prose.
read more on tagging →Billed monthly or yearly, cancel any time. Yearly saves you two months — but no annual lock-in if you don't want it.

No FAQ accordion theatrics. Just the objections that come up every week, answered direct.
No. You install the TurtleMetrics NinjaTrader addon. It reads executions from NinjaTrader and sends the trade details to the TurtleMetrics API over HTTPS.
You paste an API key once. That's the whole authentication relationship. TurtleMetrics never sees your NT credentials, your broker, or your balance.
No. The whole product is built around NinjaTrader's data model. TradingView, Tradovate, broker-direct — none of those sync.
That's a real limitation. It's also why TurtleMetrics is as good as it is for the people it does fit.
They're in the TurtleMetrics database so you can see them back. Nobody else does. No data sale, no AI training integrations, no shared behavioral data. Export everything to CSV whenever you want. Delete your account and it's gone.
On first connect, the addon imports your most recent NT executions — about 60 days worth — and reconstructs them as flat-to-flat trades. Anything older isn't pulled in. From there, every closed trade lands in the journal automatically.
Every CME futures contract NinjaTrader supports works in TurtleMetrics. Rollovers, tick values, and session times are handled automatically per contract.
